We upload more images for existing designs, construction progress, and upcoming new designs. If you need extra images, consult us and we will advise on any extra fees for us to create extra images for your preferred design.

A compilation of all the construction detailed drawings will be sent to your email once you complete the payment for the respective plan. If you are not sure of the drawings list, please get in touch with our customer support team here and ask for the drawings list for the specific house plan you are interested in. Remember to send the Design title of the house plan you have chosen.

If you are still not sure, then we also recommend that you contact your builder/contractor as well as the local building authority to get advice on which drawings are required for the construction of your home in your particular region. If it happens that the house plan you like does not have all the drawings you need, you can always order the missing ones from us at an additional fee.

Finally, we always advise that you get a Premium Account on our website first so you will be able to view the floorplans before purchasing the full set of drawings.

Once you purchase a house plan from FHD Architects you will receive the full set of drawings via email in a compressed (Zipped) PDF and DWG format. PDF is a standard format for many types of documents including drawings that can be printed without loss in quality. The files can also be viewed on any computer or smart device but the files cannot be edited. DWG is a standard format used by many different types of computer design software such as AutoCAD. The files can be edited and changes can be made easily to the plans by anyone who knows how to use such software. When you purchase a plan, we include both the PDF and DWG files for your convenience in case you want to make small adjustments on your own.
Yes, we offer design and build services but at the moment we are building in a select few countries as we are trying to establish our company in other countries. We also offer supervision in case you already have a local contractor. Please note that we only build or supervise projects designed by us.
Every county has different submission requirements and they may vary significantly. Our house plans offer detailed information that is sufficient for a Building Contractor / Construction Company to understand and build based on the construction drawings. Before the application of building permits, we advise that you get in touch with your local authorities to verify what will be needed for submission in order to get your building permit. If any additional drawings are required, we are happy to assist you with making those at an additional fee.

All house plans on our website have detailed descriptions of the size of the building right. If you are unsure whether the house plan can fit on your plot or not then please do not hesitate to get in touch with our customer support team through our contact page and ask for their guidance. Remember that they will need to know the Design Title of the house plan you are interested in as well as the exact dimensions of your plot. It helps if you share with us an official plot layout with accurate dimensions.

Structural drawings show steel reinforcements and any other engineering details. Not all our house plans have these drawings but not all house plans need these drawings either. If it happens that the house plan you like needs but does not have Structural drawings you can order them from us at an additional fee.

Not all of them. In the 'Drawings List' for each house plan, you will be able to see what you get when you purchase the house plan and whether BOQs are included or not. If you are not sure where to find the drawings list, please get in touch with our customer support team here and ask if the specific house plan you are interested in comes with BOQs or not. Remember that they will need the Design Title of the house plan to assist you quickly. If the house plan you like does not have BOQs you can order them from us at an additional fee.

Yes! We can make changes to any of our house plans based on your needs. The additional cost for such changes will depend on the complexity of the changes and whether we have to fully engage several people to work on your changes. Please get in touch with our customer support team here if you need changes made to a house plan. If you let them know the Design Title of the house plan you are interested in and list down the changes you need then they will quickly be able to calculate a quote for you.

We also offer the service of making custom-designed house plans based on your exact needs and requirements. Each project comes with unique requirements and our rates are therefore very flexible depending on the complexity of the project.

The prices for the ready-made house plans on our website are different from the prices of custom designs. This is because it takes much longer to make a custom design as it will be made from scratch to your exact specifications, and it involves many people such as architects, draftsmen, engineers, and 3D visual artists. 

Note: As construction costs are quite high it is always advisable to get a tailor-made house plan that suits your exact needs and you will end up saving more this way

There are a lot of factors that affect the total construction cost of a building. Site location, availability of materials, are just a few and in this segment. We have dedicated an in-depth article to give you an overview of all the factors that will affect the total construction budget that you can read right here.

However, you can also view a construction cost estimate for each of all our house plans directly on our website by getting a premium account. These estimates are based on the average construction costs per square meter in your region. However, you can consult your local quantity surveyor for a more detailed BOQ

We accept credit/debit/prepaid cards, Bank Transfers, Airtel money, Tnm Mpamba and PayPal. You can have a look at the icons at the bottom of our website to confirm if your preferred method is listed. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you need any assistance.
Since we serve clients from many different countries and all payments go through international payment gateways all our prices are shown in USD only. If you need to know what a specific plan will cost in your local currency then we recommend that you contact your bank for the exact exchange rate they use. If you just need a rough figure then you can also always try to Google the rate.

We fully understand your concerns about dealing with an online company. To give you some assurance you can review our Trustpilot page and social media pages. A fraudulent company would also not exist as long as we have. 

Alternatively, we are happy to deal through an escrow service of your choice (a third party that holds payments until the service is delivered). Note: however, that the additional costs will be on the client.

Yes, we are available at +265 993 847 745 from Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm GMT +3. However, please note that we prefer to have written communication so we can more easily keep records of your project and share important details about your project with our architects, engineers, etc. Also, this way we make sure no important details are missed due to unrecorded information. So whenever communicating details about your project please do so in writing. 

And since we deal with international clientele and language is a big barrier, we prefer your communication not via phone calls but in written form and in English. You can use google translate from your language to English and we will still be able to understand each other.

It normally takes from 10 minutes to a maximum of 12 hours to have your order delivered to your email. We may ask you to provide extra information if required by our Payment Gateways in order to provide you with your drawings.

Modifications to designs & custom designs

Before working on your custom design or modifying your plan of choice from FHD Architects, we will tell you the expected time to complete work on your project, list all the drawings that we will deliver, and finally our payment terms.
